The timeless elegance of a traditional bathroom has a strong attraction for many C.P. Hart customers. Whether it’s the classic lines of the sanitaryware, the craftsmanship of the hand-made brassware, or the British-made quality that appeal most, a traditional bathroom from C.P. Hart will always add style and stature to a property. So much so that estate agents in the West End still highlight in their client’s particulars when a ‘classic C.P. Hart bathroom’ has been installed.
The London collection is our best-selling traditional range, inspired by the formal splendour of the Edwardian bathroom. The sanitaryware has been made in the Potteries, the heart of English ceramics, for over forty years. Its perfect proportions are enhanced by a lustrous, flawless finish that cannot be matched by mass-produced alternatives.
London is available in a wide variety of forms and sizes to suit many different shapes of bathroom. The basin, for example, can be wall-mounted or on a pedestal (pictured), matched to furniture or specified as a console unit on a chrome stand.
This beautiful room in a Kensington townhouse matches London sanitaryware to C.P. Hart’s Arc brassware, designed by John Hart, the son of our founder Charles Percival Hart. In front of the basin is our traditional cast-iron freestanding ‘slipper’ bath, the Cambridge. The final, perfect touch is a Hoxton oval bevelled mirror, also exclusive to C.P. Hart.
