Junior Designer, Maternity Cover
Maternity Cover, January 2025 – December 2025
Location: Guildford Showroom or Wilmslow Showroom, depending on the candidate
Primary Duties
To provide design support to the Director of Client Design and the Design team
- Support to the Design team working across retail and contract projects
- Manage Design Service booking and maintain a log of enquiries
- Create accurate AutoCAD 2D plans and elevations
- Create 3D visuals using Virtual Worlds software
- Maintain and update the CAD library
- Maintain and update the C.P. Hart portfolio
- Develop 2D/3D CAD product files into a C.P. Hart product library
- Support in design meetings and presentations as and when required
- Assist with meeting and greeting clients in the showroom, with a particular emphasis on tiles and finishes
- Any other reasonable management request
Requirements
- Degree in a design-related subject is essential
- Proficient in AutoCAD 2D
- Experience with 3D modelling an advantage
- Design flair
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive and enthusiastic approach
- Experience in a sales/retail environment is an advantage
