C.P. Hart unveils Kaleid-escape, a presentation of the most exciting new products set to influence bathroom design in 2019.

Thursday 29th November saw us launch our updated gallery space featuring luxury bathroom designs from Artelinea, Alape, Bette, Bisazza, Cielo, Fantini, Karol and Scavolini. With Kaleid-escape we spread our net worldwide to transform our flagship Waterloo showroom into a kaleidoscope of colour and design influences. Rachel Martin commented, ‘Whether its earthy neutrals, muted pastels or pop colours such as pink and yellow, colour is staging a comeback in the bathroom.’
Blue is the New Neutral
A natural choice in a room dominated by water, blue is set to turn our heads in bathroom design as muted blues, bright teals and deep indigos are seen on sanitaryware as a cool alternative to white. Look out for powdery blue baths such as the BetteLux Oval Silhouette luxury bath from Bette and C.P. Hart’s own London collection, shown for the first time in a deep blue finish.

Sorbet Shades
Pastel tones such as soft blues, pinks and yellows are some of the most prominent 2019 colour trends for basins and bathroom furniture. The key to making pastels work in the bathroom is subtle application of colour. Make a soft pink vanity unit or yellow basin the basis of your scheme and embellish with a sculptured tap and intricate tiles. Pastel-inspired ranges flexing their design credentials at C.P. Hart Waterloo include Karol’s Kut range in a mint green finish and Cielo’s Kyros basin and vanity unit shown in soft pink and white.

Pop Colour
It’s impossible to ignore the emergence of pop colours in the bathroom as an antidote to subdued neutrals. Say hello to statement baths and basins in vibrant colours and jewel-tone taps. Bisazza’s ground-breaking India Mahdavi bathroom concept brings a sense of fun to bathroom design, with basins, baths and mirrors in mouth-watering colourways called Pistachio, Blueberry and Strawberry. C.P. Hart Waterloo is also now the first place to see NICE from Italian brassware manufacturer Fantini, a vibrantly coloured range of mixer taps designed by Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez.

Grown Up Neutrals
Natural materials and industrial fittings are now being paired with much earthier colours to create a sophisticated bathroom scheme. This trend is all about rich accent colours and brushed metallics, as seen in the Diesel Open Workshop bathroom from Diesel Living and Scavolini. Exclusively available from C.P. Hart, the collection sees the industrial design aesthetic that revolutionised the styling of the kitchen reinterpreted as a high-end bathroom. Think metallic finishes with earthy hues, mirrored surfaces and industrial influences.
