LANE HOUSE
The C.P. Hart design team recently worked on Lane House, a private residential project, to transform the property’s bathroom into a serene en-suite retreat. Our Lane House project features in our Homes & Gardens ‘Sanctuary’ supplement. The Specification
To create a relaxing space with a spa-like atmosphere, the C.P. Hart design team first extended the existing en-suite by building a stud wall across the bedroom. With the new, larger space, the team were able to work with the client to incorporate each desired design feature, including the BC Designs Boat Bath, painted in pink, a spacious double-entry shower, complete with a Drench Border screen, and the large Artelinea Incanto vanity unit, topped with two Cielo Era washbowls. The brassware, selected to add contrast to the marble and soft pink colour scheme, aligns with the shower screen in a matt black finish, with the bath and shower mixer and wall-mounted basin mixers both from Crosswater’s MPRO range.
The Result
Meeting the client's brief, the combination of pink and black harmoniously blends femininity with a bold look. To reap the full benefit from the larger space, the C.P. Hart design team installed a bespoke wardrobe on either side of the shower so that the room can also be used for dressing.“I’ve always wanted a really special, feminine bathroom, so the moment I picked up the keys from the estate agent in Tunbridge Wells, I went across the road to the C.P. Hart showroom for a chat.” - Client
