C.P. Hart specified an Artelinea Regolo basin with integrated lighting and a textured ‘quilted’ detail on the drawers, which satisfies the request for ‘glamour’. Art Deco-esque Style Moderne basin mixers by Samuel Heath and Keuco recessed cabinets completes the vanity area of the bathroom.
Without the need for a bath, a double-ended walk-in shower is a striking feature within the room, displaying a large hansgrohe Raindance shower head. The client was keen for a feature wall, so a Mandarin Stone marble tiling scheme was installed in the shower and on the floor area in front of the basin – a contrasting border provides an elegant look.
With lighting briefed as an important component for creating a calming ambience, the design team added lit shower recess and lighting concealed in the shower step. The basin is also under-lit, along with overhead wall lights above the large mirror cabinets.
A luxurious marble backdrop sets off the sleek sanitaryware and chrome details to perfection. Meanwhile, the basin furniture and recessed mirror cabinets combine form and function to provide the desired storage space.
