Pelham Grove
C.P. Hart recently designed, supplied, and installed the primary bathroom of Pelham Grove - a calming and neutral space that accommodates both a busy family routine and quiet momentsof relaxation.
The Specification
As part of our award-winning Design Service, the C.P. Hart Design team created a spacious Nordic-influenced family bathroom that was briefed as a “calming scheme that is practical yet simple”. Originally a larger bathroom, the client wanted to reduce the space to make room for a separate utility. In doing so, the design had to be more compact without feeling cramped.The bathroom design centred around the freestanding Cloud Bath by Waters, positioned beneath the large sash window and under a ceiling Velux for night-time star gazing. A minimalist walk-in shower with a flush-to-floor tray keeps the area uncluttered, complete with a handy niche to store items.
Various textures and tones come together to form points of interest. Crosswater MPRO Matt Black brassware creates contrasts against the white tiled walls, used throughout the scheme and coordinating with the Cielo ICatini Oval basin stand. The stone-effect floor tiles from our Norway tile collection create a warm undertone, a perfect pairing with the fluted wooden
feature wall.
The Result
The C.P. Hart Design team completely transformed the space into a highly functional yet truly calming bathroom, where natural light and a clever combination of textures encapsulate the beauty of the outdoors.“We married natural tones and organic forms to generate a cosiness often overlooked in high-traffic rooms,” the team explained. “For additional ambience, we installed a sensor-activated LED strip light along the boxing that gently illuminates the wood detailing above.”
