‘The Lakeside’ is a contemporary residential property commanding a waterfront position in the Cotswolds. C.P. Hart worked in collaboration with architectural firm AndArchitects to transform the bathroom into a stunning and minimal space.The Specification
Established as a family weekend retreat, the master bathroom needed to feel spacious and uncluttered. Flooded with light from the floor to ceiling windows, and amplified with large mirrors, the bathroom is bright and airy, boasting spectacular views from the bath. The C.P. Hart design team specified our exclusive Coniston freestanding bath in matt white for its curvaceous, double-ended design, perfect for central placement.The wetroom shower, enclosed with a frameless glass screen, displays classic own-brand brassware in chrome, also wall-mounted above the twin basins and over the bath. The master bathroom contrasts dramatically veined marble walls, tiled stone flooring, and the decorative wooden vanity area to create a truly eye-catching space.
The Result
It was important that the new bathroom reflected the property’s natural surroundings. The C.P. Hart design team carefully incorporated stone and wood accents into the design, finished with nature-inspired details, such as the wooden stool and ladder towel rail.The result is a balanced curation of modern and classical materials in a soft and timeless colour palette, creating the ultimate setting for wellbeing and relaxation while remaining perfectly functional for the whole family.
